Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched two landmark agricultural schemes — PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY) and the
Mission for Aatmanirbharta in Pulses, with a total investment of ₹35,440 crore.
These initiatives aim to boost productivity, reduce import dependence, and make Indian agriculture globally competitive.
🌿 1. PM Dhan Dhaanya Krishi Yojana (PMDDKY)

- Total Outlay: ₹24,000 crore
- Duration: 2025–26 (Rabi season) to 2030–31
- Objective: Transform 100 low-performing agricultural districts into high-productivity zones.

- Convergence of 36 schemes across 11 ministries/departments.
